Questions we are asked most
How much deposit do I need?+
UAE residents buying a first property under AED 5 million typically need 20%, plus roughly 6–8% in transaction costs. Non-residents usually start at 25–30%.
Does using a broker cost me anything?+
No. Our advice is free to you from the first consultation through to handover — we are paid by the lender on completion.
How long does approval take?+
Pre-approval is commonly 3–7 working days with complete documents. Final offer follows valuation, usually within two to three weeks overall.
Can I get a mortgage if I am self-employed?+
Yes. Lenders will want company financials, trade licence, ownership documents and bank statements. We know which lenders treat business income most favourably.
What happens when my fixed rate ends?+
The mortgage reverts to the formula in your contract, typically EIBOR plus a margin. We review your case before that date and rebroke if it saves you money.
